I live in northern Illinois, in the middle of nowhere. But the road in front of the house is a major highway, so I can still be jolted awake by a semi at 4 a.m.

I've been shifting words around on pages (or screens!) for as long as I can remember.

A story I wrote got turned into a play (I wrote that as well as a third-grader could).

I've had a lot of experiences since then, including:

- Dipping my feet in oceans off both coasts

- Getting some fiction and nonfiction published

- Being a student of trumpet for over a decade, and of harmonica for more than five years

- Having open invitations to stay in spots in Norway and Canada whenever I come by

- Receiving email copywriting training from Jay White, one of the foremost experts in the field.

I was homeschooled from seventh grade through high school, which taught me three important things:

- How to stick to a schedule

- How to be self-motivated

- How to research and present ideas clearly

With technology progressing faster and faster, sometimes we forget that people are at the core of almost everything in the world. Every service or product is touched in some way by people—real people (assuming some radical takeover hasn’t happened by the time you read this).

And many people love what they do, but know they can do better.

Is that you?

I’m not like everyone else, and I know you’re not either. I’d like to know about what makes you, you. What you like about your business, and don’t like. What’s worked for you so far, and what hasn’t. And the more we can find out, the more effectively we’ll work together.

To help you build trust with your customers and clients, faster.

Sound like something you’d want?

Contact me, and we can get started.

I'm looking forward to it.
